This week’s people behind the pretzels we’re talking to Millie, who was born on a sunny sunday afternoon in Piatra Neamt, a beautiful town on the north-eastern part of Romania.  Millie’s a bit of a linguist, and speaks English, Italian and a bit of French in addition to Romanian.  After working near Venice this summer, she just recently moved to London and joined our team (and we’re really happy to have her)!  Here’s her story:

What brought you to London?
I was drawn here by the ideal of living the British American Dream. I haven’t experimented too much throughout my life so I thought it is the best moment to do it.
What first attracted you to Knot?
I found the job advert on a jobs site from my university (Kingston) and the idea of getting to enjoy the pretzels for free sounded very nice. 🙂 My first contact with the Knot experience was the Clapham Junction shop and I loved from the start the feeling of the working environment. And I wasn’t wrong!
What’s your favourite thing about working here?
I love the fact that I get to interact with people and improve my language skills and my people skills.
What’s your favorite knot?  Favorite coffee drink?  Favourite CD we play at the shop ?
I am going through a fight choosing between the chorizo and the ham and pepperdew so I am going to keep on eating both until my final decision will be made. 🙂 I am a fan of the flat white. My favourite CD is each and every one that manages to wake me up in the morning, keeps me going through the day, and be the best companion when closing.

Thank you!  Anything else? What’s a fun fact about yourself?
I am a believer!
